Clarissa Rios

Clarissa possesses an extensive and diverse professional background that spans advocacy work, education, social media management, and leadership roles. Her notable positions include serving as a Women’s Advocacy Specialist, Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for youth in foster care, and providing Student Support Services for first-generation, LGBTQ, and underrepresented communities in education. Her multifaceted experience underscores a steadfast commitment to fostering positive change and providing support to marginalized communities, emphasizing diversity, equity, and inclusion.

She earned her Master’s in Student Development and Leadership in Higher Education from Angelo State University, complemented by her academic advising certification. Currently, Clarissa is an integral part of the admissions team for The Chicago School, guiding students through the admissions process to ensure maximum success in higher education. Additionally, she is poised to embark on her Ph.D. candidacy this year.

In her capacity as a board member, Clarissa aspires to contribute to the foundation’s growth through the introduction of innovative ideas, fostering collaboration, and strategizing for impactful development.
